JOSHWAY Creative Lab: Click, Snap, Wow!

See the world differently, one photo at a time.

This beginner-friendly photography experience gives young creators the opportunity to learn how cameras work while exploring light, focus, angles, perspective, and visual storytelling.

Students spend the session creating, moving, experimenting, and taking photographs instead of simply learning about photography. No previous photography experience is required.

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN

• Basic parts of a camera
• How to safely hold and focus a camera
• Taking clear photographs
• Using light and backgrounds
• Creative angles and perspectives
• Portrait and object photography
• How photographs can tell a story

FEATURED EXPERIENCE

Students complete a series of photography challenges, choose a favorite image, and participate in a mini photography showcase. Participants receive a photography challenge sheet and completion certificate, with an opportunity for selected work to be included in a digital class gallery.

WHO IT’S FOR

• Age – Middle – High School Students
• Beginner friendly
• 10–15 students recommended; maximum 20 with appropriate classroom support.
