About the workshop
Most professionals are not short on effort. They are short on time. Email, file hunting, typing, and retyping add up to hours that should belong to family, meaningful work, and life outside of work.
This is a hands-on, 90 minute workshop for anyone who wants those hours back. No technical background is required, and no prior experience with AI is needed. Participants only need a task that takes longer than it should and a willingness to look at it differently.
Who should attend
- Professionals, founders, and nonprofit leaders balancing a full plate
- Anyone looking to streamline how they work and build a simple system from the tools they already have
- People curious about AI who want to use technology with intention instead of letting it use them
What attendees will learn
- Time it. Count it. Cut it. A simple method for finding out what a task is actually made of and removing the steps that do not need you
- A five step system. Capture, Think, Create, Automate, Connect. It works no matter which apps you use. Apps change. The system does not
- Technology with intention. Use technology, including AI, to carry the grunt work while you stay in charge, like a conductor leading an orchestra instead of playing every instrument
- Move slow in a hurry. Why a deliberate approach beats rushing through the same task the long way
What attendees will see
Live demonstrations of real work getting done in a fraction of the time, including dictating an email instead of typing it, finding and filing documents without opening them one by one, and a walkthrough of the tools used every day.
What attendees will leave with
- One of their own tasks timed, mapped, and shortened before leaving the room
- A starter toolkit of apps and habits matched to the five steps, with an honest look at what each one costs
- A clear first step to use the same afternoon
- Membership in the Power Users Club, a community of people working to think leaner and live fuller
What to bring
A laptop and one task that takes more time than it should.
